Ryder Cup 2027
The Ryder Cup is a biennial men’s golf competition between teams from Europe and the United States. The competition is contested every two years with the venue alternating between courses in the United States and Europe. The Ryder Cup is being held at Bethpage Golf Club, Farmingdale, New York in September 2025 and at Adare Manor, Adare, County Limerick in September 2027.

Role
Town & Country Resources Limited is planning advisor to Ryder Cup 2027 Commercial Limited. This entails :
- providing strategic planning guidance in respect of the Event Licence for the Ryder Cup 2027 .
- Dianne McDonogh is currently leading the Event Licence Application process on behalf of Ryder Cup 2027 Commercial Limited, including management of consultations with Limerick City & County Council, key stakeholders and statutory consultees; preparation of the Event Licence application documents, including co-ordination and management of all engineering and environmental inputs in consultation with the European Tour.
Planning Outcome
The Event Licence application is under preparation and progressing through all statutory pre-planning and planning stages, with a licence application expected to be lodged in June 2025.
